I was just there tonight. It's a bit surreal since I did not find out until I got home. Literally maybe two blocks nearby, did not notice police cars or the explosion it self. Also the nj explosion happened in the area I visit.

Anyways this type of stuff might even turn NJ and NY red this election cycle.

This is really weird. I grew up in NJ and I'm going back to visit for the first time in 20 years. First stop, SEASIDE PARK,NJ (site of the first bombing a few hours earlier) to visit my grandma. Second stop, Central Park, MANHATTAN(site of the second bombing). Yikes!!!

That Drudge report is the first news report I've seen that has even mentioned both bombings together. The media is trying to keep it quiet ...

Intentional explosion would be to target a specific person and everyone else is collateral. Terror bombing is targeting a broader range of people, usually a group and/or randoms.

Most likely 2 terror islamic cells coordinating with each other. One of the bombs (i believe in nj) was meant for a marathon event that was going on that is attended by marines and sailors. The interesting thing is that no one died. I think a total of 30-40 people got hurt at both bombings

Online manifesto by individual claiming responsibility for Chelsea explosion is discovered; NYPD investigating

NEW YORK — A manifesto by an individual claiming to be responsible for detonating an explosive in Chelsea, injuring 29 people, has been discovered online and police confirmed Sunday they are now investigating its validity.

The investigation is in its early stages, and the primary concern is credibility behind the posting titled, "I'm the NY Bomber: This is will be my manifesto," sources tell PIX11's Mario Diaz.

The individual titles two posts, "Taking a human life" and "Manufacturing Test Explosives," and claims the reason for Saturday night's attack is bringing attention to issues surrounding those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ***** or questioning.


You probably have all seen the news by now,
the explosives detonated in New York City, that was me. Those were just some tests, I know where I have made errors and I will not make the same mistake next time.
I did it because I cannot stand society.
I cannot live in a world where homosexuals like myself as well as the rest of the LGBTQ+ community are looked down upon by society.

The explosion in Chelsea at West 23rd Street injured 29 people and caused "significant damage" to the area.

While the incident was "obviously an act of terrorism," no links to any international groups have been found, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday.

An investigation continued into the motive behind the attack. No arrests have been made.

“His clothes were different, he wore Muslim attire, robes,” said Flee Jones, 27, who used to play basketball with Rahami. “When he was young he always dressed regular.
“At one point he left to go to Afghanistan and, two years ago, he came back, popped up out of nowhere and he was real religious,” Jones said. “And it was shocking, I’m trying to understand what’s going on, I’d never seen him like this.”
