The Movie. I thought it was really good.

What I loved the most was the way it humanized the man.

He is more than someone who should be simply labeled a traitor or be called to be summarily executed (as if anyone should be). I don't think I'm giving anything away by saying that there is a sound bite from Trump calling for just that. There is also a sound bite from Hillary calling him a traitor.

This is, in my opinion, Stone's best.

The movie Snowden hits theaters across the country this weekend, and Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger says Americans shouldn’t give Snowden any more publicity.

“That’s why I’m suggesting to people not to go to the movies, because I don’t want one of the biggest traitors in the country to be glorified,” said Ruppersberger.

Ruppersberger says Snowden’s disclosure harmed the U.S., especially in its fight against terrorism.

“It’s like giving the enemy what we do and all the private and classified information we have,” he said.

The stupidity and corruption of such great hordes of Americans is wholly depressing.

To call for the execution as a traitor of a man who did as much as Snowden to expose the vast and dangerous corruption of the fedgov just leaves this world looking to me as flat and colorless.

If aliens landed in my orchard tonight, I would beg them to take me with them away from this boring lump of mindless stupidity and corruption. I'd rather die in the black of space than remain surrounded by this much willful and mindlessly vicious stoogery.
