and an optional disc art file (sharpee recomended for mass distribution...printing on the disc will raise your cost a lot):

Here's a copy of what I put on our meetup page message thread...if someone can explain it better please do so, I didn't have the patience, figuring that anyone who wants to learn how to download bittorrent and burn DVDs will do it:

Just like the audio CDs now you can make your own DVDs from this webpage - and these are regular DVDs that will work in about 99.5% of all DVD players in the U.S. not some weird computer thing.

Go to the files section and download the small file "torrent" file there called DVD Ron Paul version 2. Get a bittorrent client such as Azazrus. Run that program. Double click on the torrent file you downloaded. It will now start downloading the DVD folder from me and anyone else who has downloaded it and is currently sharing it. The more people who share it ("seed it") the faster the downloads will become.

Use any DVD burning software and select "make video DVD" or "burn Image to disc" and then somewhere along the way there will be an option to burn with "DVD video files" go to the directory you downloaded and then within it the VIDEO_TS folder and select and add all of those files - Burn it. That's it, instant DVD for about 33 cents each.

If you want to make it extra spiffy looking use the file "RonPaul-DVD - Disc-ver2-a" that I also uploaded in the file section. If you use this, be sure to get a printer that prints right on the disc, not those stickers - those are bad. This will probably triple your per disc cost though with ink, so I'd just use a sharpee for the most part if you plan on handing these out to potential Ron Paul voters.

Most of what's on the disc can be found on our youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/RonPaulUtah2008...
the good thing about this DVD is that it can bring a lot of the energy from the internet into the living rooms of people who don't normally use it...just like the audio CD which I mentioned before.

Is this DVD viewable only on computers or on TV DVD players? I've made DVDs that can do both, they have computer files and TV viewable clips.

thank you, I fixed the youtube link in my first post and here it is again:

Yes, this a regular DVD-R (or DVD+R whichever disc you prefer to use...I like the -R myself) which will be viewable on your regular TV DVD player as well as your computer.

Not only is the way you use it very accessable and good to hand out to people who are not internet savy (bring the energy from the net to new people's living room's) the videos on the disc are very acessable too.
