giuliani is probably feeling better since these two events in europe. I can imagine his speech now (which is the same as all his other ones)

9/11, terrorist, terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 the terrorists will kill you if you don't vote for me.

I wonder giulianiesque type of people who say "we fight over there so they don't come here" have to say about this stuff. Obviously fighting over doesn't stop terrorist from doing these things. Actually, they'll probably cite these instances to justify more control.

Odd, I dont remember this happening when the IRA used car bombs on a regular basis.

what a load of exaggerations......

Gasoline as an explosive to kill 200 people yesterday?

WTF? Gasoline is an incendiary that would blow up the car and turn it into a black metal frame. Though it does have some explosive characteristics, it is not an explosive!

What an exaggeration.

This plays right into their hands. Although with their history of being blown up by the IRA periodically over the previous 30 years might make them a little more immune.

I just hate what these people are doing to our way of life.

CNN just announced that the UK has gone to their equivalent of a Code Red Terror Alert meaning that "an attack is imminent".

This doesn't fit an Al-Q type attack, and might be more related to their own internal politics, with the new PM taking over on Wednesday.

A burning car wreck is a terrorist attack??

Doesn't that seem just a little bit weak?

Yeah, nobody was killed right? Why are they already labeling this as terrorism? What proof do they have and why would terrorist do such a shitty attack?

In breaking news today, a bunch of idiots who fancy themselves terrorists failed to cause any significant damage but did manage to get themselves arrested.

The suspects were taken into police custody and subjected to a battery of tests as part of a joint program with the American government to better understand the enemy. The results of the testing thus far have been highly revealing. It was discovered that the average suicide terrorist has an IQ of approximately 75 and believes that the United States is a fascist dictatorship hellbent on destroying the muslim religion and stealing the oil of all Arab nations, which leaves them on a rough parity with the American President George W. Bush.

Unlike more than 40% of Americans, none of the suicide terrorists believed that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with the attacks on September 11th, 2001. Like most Americans, however, the approval rating of Bush among suicide terrorists remains in the single digits. Those terrorists who approved of Bush explained that while they believe Bush is in actuality the worst president in American history, they thanked him for listening to them and doing what he could to reduce religious freedom in his country, and his actions have helped their recruitment effort so much that in their view it outweighed the numerous downsides of his presidency. Terrorists disapproving of Bush also cited his strong efforts to improve their recruiting as a positive, but argued that the reduction in religious freedom, while commendable, was in the direction of the wrong religion and therefore unsupportable.

Asked who they supported in the 2008 presidential election, 83% of suicide terrorists answered Hillary Clinton, citing her ability to continue in the footsteps of President Bush in destroying America's economy by running up massive deficits, and commended her continuous proposals to disarm the American population. 10% supported Rudolph Giuliani. Those terrorists had a 95% overlap with those who support President Bush. The remaining 7% were undecided.
