The day after five Dallas officers were killed by a sniper, the city’s police chief described the men as “guardians” of democracy, praising them for protecting the freedom to protest at a large demonstration against police brutality.

President Barack Obama later eulogized the slain officers, saying they died while defending essential constitutional rights.

But nearly two months after the shootings, Dallas police have moved to silence critics and squelch lingering questions about the attack. Officers in riot gear have been told to ticket protesters who block or disrupt traffic, and Police Chief David Brown has refused to meet with demonstrators unless they agree to end their marches through downtown, which he says pose a threat to officers.

Authorities have also refused to release even the most basic information about the slayings, including any details about the weapons used, the autopsy findings and ballistics tests that could establish whether any officers were hit by friendly fire. Police have indicated that such information could be withheld almost indefinitely.

When this happened I said that the facts did not add up. It appears these officers were targeted and executed for some reason.

Anyone have any sources outside of MSM on what really went down that day??

Maybe these were the ones who were wide awake and wouldn't make quotas and do illegal things. I wouldn't doubt it for a minute.

It's interesting to see the democrats talking about how the police need to be reigned in now.

The 5 cops who died didn't die from friendly fire. They just didnt. Ok? Stop asking. Its an insult, to our brave Heroes and their training.

They died for your freedom. That's all you need to know. Mods please lock thread. Thanks.

Wow, that was bizarre

There's a part 2 of that video where he's approached by even more of them after he crosses back across the street. Will see if I can find it.

It's telling that the plain clothes guys look Israeli and one is wearing an old Georgetown hat, a notorious Jesuit school. Big doins' underway.

He's got a bunch of vids on his channel. Good to see some locals not afraid to go find out first hand what's really going on.

Dallas Chief Who Oversaw Response To Sniper Attack To Retire

Dallas police Chief David Brown announced his retirement Thursday, two months after his impassioned response to a sniper attack that killed five officers made him the face of a city reeling from tragedy.

Brown, who will be 56 this year, issued a statement saying he will retire Oct. 22 after 33 years with Dallas police and six years as chief. He did not give a reason for his decision to retire, but the mayor and city manager both said at a news conference that he was not being forced out.
