I have read somewhere that from august 2006 to august 2007 the media mentioned ron paul like 1000 times to Jon mccains 13,000. or something like that. does anybody know where that article is?

Nothing is more obvious than the recent Newsweek poll that had RP at 8%. When MSNBC ran the story, they reported all of the candidate's numbers INCLUDING JOHN MCCAIN AT 6%, and Paul was not mentioned once.

I voted yes, because they are starting to report his ideas and messages fairly, but they are not reporting his poll numbers fairly. On top of it, they are rigging polls or outright cancelling them-- a problem which goes far beyond the media.

That's one article (and then everybody who read the article didn't realize what the real numbers were). It's hardly the entire media, and as a whole, it's more or less OK, particularly before a few weeks ago, when we couldn't expect to get much coverage because Paul's poll numbers were really small. Now they're bigger, but it's a recent change, and expect to see more coverage in the future.

Well, that wouldn't be too hard to believe since McCain was considered the front runner early in the race and Paul didn't even announce any plans to run until March 2007, so that's a twelve month interval for McCain and only five months for Ron Paul (his five least impressive months).
