It happened very quietly at the end of the Senate session today. 2 Article III Judicial nominees were confirmed, both to the United States Court of International Trade.
President Obama now has 327 Article III Judicial confirmations, identical to the final total for President G.W. Bush.
Obama and Bush are now tied for 3rd place in Article III judicial confirmations.
President Reagan still holds the record with 383. President Clinton is in 2nd place with 378.
Most likely, if he is extremely fortunate, Obama might get 10 more confirmations, though I see 4 to 6 as a more reasonable estimate.
