That's actually what the video says. It talks about her Indian heritage. Mexican once, Indian always. Though ridiculous and misguided, it's no worse than what I hear from those speaking of settlers as invaders, etc..

I hope she was saying that in New Mexico, because her tribe is not native to California. Kind of ironic that she makes a big deal about "Mexican" land. Most of her tribe's range was in Mexico, and they suffered greatly at the hands of the Mexican government.
