Alright, this is very important. While the amount of small grassroots projects have tapered off, with well over 80% accomplished successfully (which is good considering the over one hundred we had) and passion still capable of inspiring people to help Paul and his message, larger projects have entered the scenes. Among them are projects that are, without a doubt, going to be recognized as innovative ideas for the Ron Paul rEVOLution. So . . . . I'll just get on with it.

Ron Paul Meet-Up Challenge
- Summary: With a collection of all Meet-Up data, I'm confident in saying that this is the highest quality grassroots-created website to date. It's basically a competition in which states compete to get the most pledges for Paul. Then, on whatever date is specified by those running the website, they will donate. There are a little over 100,000 meet-up members for Paul and, if each person donates 230, that's the $23 million goal we were given for quarter one. AND, luckily, we already got $6 million, meaning a $170 donation from each person would propel us through the $23 million mark.

- Summary: We hate the media, right? Thanks a ton, and it IS a sticky. I keep updating it too. I think the primary date/caucus information will have to be a separate thread just because this one's almost overflowing.

BUT GUYS, really, deadlines are approaching for fundraisers and the considerably smaller one's are about to pass unnoticed. If you own Ron Paul websites, or anything, this list is IMPORTANT. All of these grassroots movements need attention, not just the Tea Party.

I'd do it. If it was up to me, I think this list should be shown or linked on every single Ron Paul website. You could set up a dedicated domain, sure, but if you can't afford it don't spend the money.

Personally, my philosophy is that this grassroots push is getting stretched too thin and that the entire November 5th thing came together and got so big because there were hardly any dates, events, or fundraisers. But look it now! Sure, the tea party will be huge, but the only incredibly successful fundraisers/events will be ran by the same individual who got all the glory for the blimp/5th/16th. I'm not saying he's trying to monopolize, but I think the spotlight is on the tea party and all the other projects/events are sitting in its shadow.

ANY extra spotlight onto these projects would only help. It's a tragedy they won't even LINK to it on the teaparty07.com website when there's links to other non-ron-paul websites on there. It sucks.

So, yeah to your question. There definitely needs to be a place people can go to for all the dates ESPECIALLY after the 16th. It'd be more genius to have a link to the dates on the tea party website after the tea party, so people, after becoming excited about Ron Paul and his really enthusiastic supporters, can see ALL the other plans. I just think whoever is running the site has the balls of Paul's grassroot-grand-slams in his hands.

I know this all sounds like blasphemy to talk about before the tea party, but it'll be brought up eventually. The grassroots push needs organization and someone in charge to continue being effective after the 16th. That, or the runner of teaparty07 can keep working like crazy. Which, I think, would be fine . . .

Focus your energy on Older People. Please.


They are the biggest voters. Bring assurance to them. Make sure they know they are going to be taken care of. The young crowd is taken care of at this point. Grassroots projects are making sure of that. We NEED the older vote. THEY get out to the polls in MASS.

I'm 23. Politicians don't take people my age or younger seriously. I saw Kinky Friedman attempt an amazing run at Texas Governor, but he focused most of his attention on the young vote, hoping to get them out and vote. Even with the massive amount of online support he had, he came in 4th. The sad truth is there are way more young people who will not vote than we think. Our ONLY hope for this election is the Older vote.


I urge all supporters of Ron Paul to get out and talk to "Old" people.

I urge the Ron Paul campaign to focus a lot more energy on getting an older demographic of voters.
