It's been discussed on several threads here, but I thought I should start a new one to promote action by fellow Paulites.
There is an initiative by the government to bail out the banks and financial institutions that are affected by the subprime crisis.
Ron Paul campaign has an official Press Release on this topic:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-releases/67/ron-paul-government-intervention-created-sub-prime-mortgage-crisis-sound-money-is-the-answer/
This is a hot topic, discussed on many housing blogs, like http://www.thehousingbubbleblog.com, and MANY others. There is a petition to stop the bailout:
http://www.petitiononline.com/bailout/
While many on those blogs share our positions on economy in general and government involvement in it, Dr. Paul's name is not mentioned in the discussion often enough. It is a great turf for our message. Those guys are our natural allies, but some of them don't know it yet.
Please help me spread the message. Google 'housing blog', and pick one that is closest to you. If you're new to a housing blog, you might find a lot of useful information there, too.
