I bet this guy could make more money from selling this domain than a years worth of work "consulting"

no doubt, It just shows something that looks like a book and says the site is under construction, is this guy even alive.

It's not a real guy, it's a squatter. Once Ron Paul gets bigger he will sell the domain.

It's been discussed. IIRC he is a real guy and wants some crazy amount of money for it - 150k?? Do a search, somebody has contacted him. For less than 10-15K it might be worth it for the campaign, but nothing more.

Wouldn't that be a little risky to hang on to it after New Hampshire?

What may be worth $100,000 now will be worth $10 then if RP doesn't make it. I don't see how it will appreciate any more if he gets the nomination either. If RP wins the GOP nomination - the campaign will move from mostly Internet to mostly Real life.

Instead of squatting I would set up a Ron Paul portal site with everything about Ron Paul.

He could pull in $150k/mo in Google AdSense since RP is the #1 searched term on Google and that site would come up 2nd (after ronpaul2008.com) if it was developed and optimized.

He missed the boat because he was too greedy.

The same thing happened kerryedwards.com.

The campaign offered a generous amount of money and the owner turned it down, now it is worth nothing.

Maybe the Ron Paul campaign can lease it for a month or two and redirect to ronpaul2008.com

I've attempted to contact him before and received no response.

the market decided the domain name's price: ZERO. There was a buyer and a seller, the seller got greedy and the buyer walked away.
