Newsmax has a poll at http://polls.newsmax.com/hillary/ . The primary purpose seems to be selling magazines. It is a poll about attitudes toward Hillary. One of the questions asks, "which Republican is the best candidate to oppose Hillary? ", and Ron Paul is one of the choices. There are seven other questions and you have to give a valid email addy. Results are not yet posted, as far as I can tell and there is no deadline given. The poll is URGENT! (their word, not mine).

Like I said, it's probably just a sham poll used as a ploy to sell subscriptions, however, someone(s), somewhere, will see the results and it would be nice to see RP win this one also.

They don't have Gravel as a choice for Democrats. Looks like they are afraid of him too. Beware this is a very Neo Conned website.

Afraid of what? That he'll release more metaphors involving glaring and rock throwing?

Better metaphors than the other demigods. He's threating some things like Paul to change very big items to the establishment(drug profiteers). Can't make too much profit on drugs if they are legal. It is just nice that he brings this up. And how true that 15X more people are in jail now mostly for drugs and minorities than 30 year ago. Did you notice the camera shots to the the black people? As Gravel said in the start he thought this debate was the fairest of the lot.

Still this reeks to me of Tavistock think tanks. But I like Gravel

They'll be more profits on drugs if they are legal, except they will be not in the per ounce profit, but in overall profits, akin to increasing tax revenue by lowering taxes.

I can't prove this now but I once read that $2000 in hereon if it was legal it would be $15. Free market economy. That means an addict could beg for his fix instead of robbing. Plus a lot of drugs can be homegrown for very little. Look in the old west how cheap patent medicines were that gave people a really good buzz which contained opium and cocaine. As someone mentioned to watch the 'Shootist" one of the best John Wayne films ever where he was dying of cancer and could buy opium legally to kill the pain.
