"Hinting strongly at a presidential run, Fred Thompson last night urged Republicans to lead the country by returning to their founding principles and renewing their commitment to small government, individual freedom and free trade," the New Hampshire Union Leader reports.

Gee, where have we heard that before, Fred, you frog-faced son of a bitch?

He can't back those ideas up like Ron can... give them 10 minutes with each other and Fred will crumble

Paul/Thompson '08

He'd make a good Vice President.

Now, now, as frog-faced as Fred is, Dr. Paul never makes personal attacks, and we should aim for his standards. We also need to win over his supporters!

Thompson is pro war. Bush ran on a platform of small government too.

I don't think Fred has ever said anything about him supporting the Constitution before.
