I think my friends ARE, and that's the point. None of them are RP supporters, they can watch it objectively, so they aren't going to ass kiss when they watch the ad.

Nope that wouldn't fit with the idea of "Don't be THAT girl". Women need to be offended in order to look into stuff. One of the ways to get women to looking into stuff is to tick them off (controversy) and they will then look into it to try and prove you wrong. Remember women are all about revenge and pushing the blame onto others. They use excuses such as being busy, married with children, sick, old, young, "doesn't matter" etc.

This commercial directly hits the % of the population that comes up with every excuse on the face of the Earth to NOT care about politics.

The middle part could be a lot better imo. Some of the audio is not good enough for TV (it would need cleaned up slightly), but the concept is brilliant.

I just showed it to my friends girlfriend, who is not into politics and knows nothing about Ron Paul, and she's now asking me questions about him. Seems to have worked?

people always seem to like ron paul when I explain everything, and then I tell them they have to register republican and they automatically change their opinion and say they can't trust him, no matter how much I show his record to say otherwise... then I tell him the other republicans hate him then they get interested again.
