Alexander Hamilton was NOT a founding father, and was NOT a civil rights advocate. He committed treason by relaying secret Washington administration debates and policies to the British Ambassador. He colluded with the British Parliament in obstructing Congressional Laws and policies of the Washington cabinet. He PERSONALLY started the two party political clusterf**k that is tearing our country apart now. He was an aloof monarchist who held guns at the faces of farmers during the whiskey rebellion, and demanded President Adams invade Mexico and conquer Latin America for no reason. He personally advocated and won a central bank that lurched our nation into debt and financial servitude to a global banking establishment. He slandered Jefferson, Burr, and countless others. And he demanded that the american people submit themselves to a powerful, central government. Of him, Jefferson said "[he is] a man whose history, from the moment of which history can stoop to notice him, is a tissue of machinations against the liberty of the Country which has not only received and given him break, but heaped its honors upon his head." So as you settle into bed tonight, hearing about how the arm-flailing and joyful dancing "Hamilton" play saved this "pivotal american Founding Father" from being removed from the $20, please remember that Hamilton smiles at us from the beyond where Burr sent him, knowing the wool is still firmly over the eyes of the people. /rant

For all his faults; one has to admire the sheer personal drive required for an orphaned son of a whore to get so far in life.

Yeah , grew up in the West Indies and in 1776 commanded an Artillery unit ( New York) that was of captured British cannon. For all his faults he knew how to get his foot in the door .

As a secret agent for the Rothschild's Bank of England, Hamilton has earned a place on the $10 FRN debt note.

Aaron Burr deserves the Medal of Freedom for killing that traitorous SOB.

Lots of pro-Hamilton and anti-Jackson propaganda lately. Probably all part of the FED's attempt to rehabilitate it's image after destroying the economy and killing off the American middle-class - not to mention the education provided to millions by two Ron Paul presidential campaigns.

The elites are really pulling out all the stops to publicize this "Hamilton" play on Broadway, giving it all kinds of awards, bringing the cast to the White House. Ben Bernanke is a fan. Hamilton is being portrayed as a hero for starting a central bank! (This is the play that put out an ad for actors stipulating that no white men need apply.) The founding fathers are portrayed by young black actors who "rap" the lyrics… I think they're trying to put a human face on the ruthless banking cartels that have made it impossible for ordinary people to support a family. For many people, this propaganda/play will be their introduction to central banking… "It's wonderful!"

'Hamilton' creator lobbies Treasury on the $10 bill redesign

...No one is quite sure what Lew's vision is. But (Lin-Manuel) Miranda has made it clear that he is, not surprisingly, a staunch defender of the nation's first treasury secretary, and has lobbied Lew on Twitter to keep him.

So when the Broadway star tweeted that he had a good meeting with Lew this week, it suggested that Hamilton will have a prominent role on the new bill….

...Hamilton is a popular historical figure. He was named secretary of the treasury in 1789. He helped craft America's banking system and is largely credited with putting the new nation on strong financial footing.

Miranda's critically acclaimed and wildly popular Broadway production, "Hamilton," tells his story through catchy hip-hop songs, and has managed to make an historical figure extremely popular again.

When Miranda and Lew met, "the Secretary thanked Miranda for the ingenious way in which he has been able to tell Hamilton's story and ignite a renewed interest in one of our nation's founding fathers," Treasury spokesperson Daniel Watson told CNNMoney via email.

Some critics have called for Lew to put a woman on the $20 instead of the $10, ousting Andrew Jackson, whose legacy is less admirable. His policies in the 1830's, known as the Trail of Tears, led to the death of thousands of Native Americans.

Miranda agrees. After Lew announced his plans for $10 last year, Miranda tweeted, "But Jackson stays? The MURDEROUS Andrew Jackson is still money?"
