So there was no LPAC for 2015, potentially to allow for personnel to focus on Rand's campaign, and there has been nothing said of an LPAC 2016... is it going to happen or is it dead?

I'm seeing nothing beyond 2014...

The problems we kept having was this...

If we held it in DC we could attract a lot of great speakers because it was convenient for them to show up and speak. However the base of LPAC obviously does not live in DC. If we held it outside of DC then we would be able to have a bigger audience, but the quality speakers would be less likely to show up because it would be inconvenient for them to do so.

That's a reasonable dilemma, but it's not an excuse to not have one. :p Obviously if they weren't financially viable then that's a problem, and you need a better model. I thought the DC based conference made sense due to the speakers. Having the regional conferences (as they were called) makes sense too if you can get the numbers.

So is everyone just too busy? Think it's not worth it? Losing money? What?

Even if these were held every other year it would be a good thing, IMO.
