Police Find And Detonate Explosive Device At Trump Supporter’s Home After He Threatened Muslims

by Justin Salhani Mar 26, 2016 12:34 pm

William Celli, a 55-year-old man from California, will spend 90 days in jail after being caught in possession of an explosive device and threatening to kill Muslims. Celli took a plea deal that places him on probation for a further three years and bans him from operating an active Facebook profile.

Celli was arrested on Dec. 20, 2015 after yelling “I’m going to kill you all” outside the Islamic Society of West Contra Costa County in Richmond, California. Police later found and detonated an explosive device at Celli’s residence after receiving tips that he was constructing homemade explosives.

Celli had taken to social media in the past to express his admiration of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump. “Donald trumps on again I’m happy leaders okay but this guys a great point man I’ll follow this MAN to the end of the world,” Celli wrote on Facebook in October.

Despite political rhetoric demonizing Muslims worldwide, radical rightwing activists are a greater threat to Americans than jihadists, according to recent studies.

Some people took to social media to decry the sentence as too lenient. Nonetheless, American-Muslim groups welcomed the development.

“We welcome the jail time handed out in this case and are appreciative of the cooperation and support from law enforcement and the district attorney’s office shown to the local Muslim community,” the Council on American-Islamic Relations SFBA Executive Director Zahra Billoo said in a statement. “At a time when attacks on mosques and Muslim individuals are at an all-time high, this will send a message that such actions will have consequences.”

Celli’s sentence is lenient, though, in comparison with that of the Duka brothers. Three brothers from this family of Albanian Muslim immigrants are currently serving life sentences (two of the brothers were sentenced to life sentences plus 30 years) for allegedly planning an attack on Fort Dix. The brothers were sentenced despite being caught on tape multiple times denying any intent to undertake such an attack. They were arrested while illegally buying firearms.

Celli isn’t the first American to get a relatively lenient sentence for threatening Muslims, either. Robert Rankin Doggart, a former candidate for Congress, said he was “plotting the annihilation” of a Muslim community in New York but was let go on a guilty plea.

Doesn't it, though?

This election is amusing. It's all obviously engineered to enable Clinton to do what she couldn't do in 2008. But they have to keep working on that balance. Clinton is so enormously unappealing that they really have to work at making even an orange third grade class bully with an even more orange combover even less appealing.

And, of course, what better way to do that than to tell the sheep, hey, you don't want anything to do with his herd.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that's why someone is paying all these obnoxious spammers to pollute this forum--to make sure we're too disgusted to even consider voting for whatever Republican against the scary cunt.

Games within games within games. Even their pawns don't know why they're really being paid to do what they do.

I just wonder, is an empty piece of pipe with caps on each end and wires running to a clock, considered a bomb?

Edit:

Of course, law enforcement can "detonate" a sugar bowl full of sand while no one else could even get it to ignite.

That's called teamwork. How can the Department of Evidence Analysis safely confirm that there is explosive in the pipe of the Department of Evidence Manufacture doesn't make it easy to get into the pipe?

If Fedbook were Apple, you wouldn't be calling it Fedbook. So, I'm going to have to ask you to prove that he posted that pic.

But the tape is only used to make sure it doesn't leak. An explosive wouldn't be slow enough to leak.

There's a reason I used Teflon tape to seal my cooling system bleeder port, even though I could have sealed it a dozen different ways. Remember what Teflon was first used for? It also prevents threads from seizing, because it's slick stuff.

Be careful when you say, '...only used to...' There are quite a few ways to seal pipe threads besides that--and most of them are cheaper. Plumbers use the stuff for more than one reason. They might have to come back and pull another diamond ring out of that P-trap, and if they do, they want it to be an easy job. Whoever manufactured that evidence could have used Teflon tape for any of those reasons, or just out of habit for that matter.

Attempting to associate Trump supporters with domestic terrorism, CPU'd?

Hmmmm.... Where have we seen this before?

Ron Paul, Bob Barr, Chuck Baldwin, Libertarians are Terrorists

The MIAC report specifically describes supporters of presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as “militia” influenced terrorists and instructs the Missouri police to be on the lookout for supporters displaying bumper stickers and other paraphernalia associated with the Constitutional, Campaign for Liberty, and Libertarian parties.

Linking one of the seventeen billion MSM stories about Trump, CPUd? Where have we seen that before? Why, we've seen it in every fracking subforum of this site, that's where. But at least you found the one that was halfway interesting.

openfire, if you were a poster, instead of a spammer trying to get a bonus, you'd have read the thread and realized that your point had already been made. As for your sophomoric attempt to claim that it gives us and you something in common, it doesn't. If the Establishment really did hate Trump as much as they hated Ron Paul, you'd have never even heard of Trump.

Oh, the federal government may hate both us and your average Trump supporters. But they hate us more. We're a whole lot harder to fool.

There are several problems with this theory, many of which have already been discussed in other threads. I won't rehash the other arguments, but here's one I haven't seen mentioned: If, as you posit, the media is in fact attempting to promote Trump via "reverse psychology" - bashing him under the assumption that the people don't trust the media - then why aren't they doing the same with Hillary Clinton?

That's cute. You magnanimously refrain from rehashing what has been said time and time again, then ask a question that I cannot answer without rehashing what has been said time and time again.

Well, I don't know. It could be because they're all scared of Clinton, or that they actually like the scary bitch, or that they don't care if it's her or not so long as it's a Democrat because Democratic administrations tend to move the ball faster toward that police state we smell coming, or because Clinton is the female with the best name recognition and they want to stir us all up against each other along sexist lines the way they did along racist lines for the last eight years (thus pretty much wearing the race card out), or some combination of these reasons and several more.

There. How's that for being redundant and saying for the millionth time they want Clinton to win without saying for the millionth time they want Clinton to win?

Trump is less popular than Hillary among American muslims but he hasn't done any campaign ads wearing hijab either.

Probably because they recognize that he's not yet another neocon intent on continuing the murdering, maiming and displacing of millions of Muslims in the middle east. That would be my guess.

That could be the logical explanation.
But Trump also seems good at pandering when needed:

In contrast, other GOP candidates or Hillary have not made such statements.

Obama has no muslims in his cabinet either even though he has been accused of killing many muslim children and families with drones.
