This guy from the UAW union in Waterloo Iowa was on talking about these mini votes that they have been doing all over the country. He said not one vote was cast out of 300+ for Hillary, but the really COOL thing he said was that for the votes cast for Republican's......... RON PAUL came in first!!!! Followed by a 3 way tie bw Romney, Huck, and Mcain.

Of course Rush goes "Rudy was nowhere to be found?" Like he was heartbroken, and then he qualified it by saying "Well, Rudy is focusing on Florida and NH".

It was Awesome!!! I almost drove off the road.

Even the Unions are voting for RP!

Rush says "whenever a conservative has ran on a conservative platform - he wins" (meaning: freedom is popular - IF THEY MEAN IT!)

He should take his own advice and root for Dr Paul!

Seeing as how the actual unions are always solidly behind the Democrats, this is AWESOME!

The Unions' leadership are behind Democrats the members not so much.

Hehe - yeah Rush isn't representative of real Republican base - but it's still good when Dr. Paul gets FAVORABLE mention on his show, because there are still many Ditto-heads out there who probably only know Julie-Annie and Romney.

That's what I meant (although maybe not what I typed..:o )

Yeah, union members do not typically follow the union line unless they have to. My mom was a union steelworker and always voted republican. Kind of funny really. It seems that most do not care about union subsidies. Anyway, you can be sure that the organization itself will tow the democrat line.

Does Rush trash Paul? Does he ever say anything good about him?

On a side note, I have a feeling Obama is going to blow Clinton out of the water when it comes to getting out the vote.

Rush hasn't really trashed Ron Paul yet.

The only thing bad so far that I've heard of was when he said Ron Paul has a snowball's chance of winning. (Back in June or so)

Yesterday, Rush was gushing over Romney's speech. On and on about how he was the first candidate in like forever who talked about the Constitution, the Founding Fathers and what this country was supposed to be all about. I wanted to throw up.

Hey! We need your vote for the revolution. Don't even think about driving off the road.

... After the revolution, you are free to drive off the road provided you don't infringe on the rights of others.

Thus far Rush has largely ignored Ron Paul all together.

This however is the 2nd 'positive' mention or at least mention in the absence of an outright attack aimed at him in as many weeks.

I won't get all that excited about it, as I honestly no longer know anyone who actually listens to Rush, whereas several years ago, I myself listened to the man and knew many ditto-heads.

But still, he has SOME audience, so every non attack mention on air is worth SOMEthing PR wise.

This is really important - and Rush is a douchebag. I wouldn't have read this thread if I didn't notice the term "UAW" when my mouse hovered over the link.

I suggest you repost this info in a new thread with a title that summarizes the substance of this story, rather than Rush.

That would be bad for us. Obama is a much stronger foe.

The big 3 cancel each other out....That leaves the door perfectly open for the upset.
