Ron Paul endorsed Ralph Nader, back in 2008..

Sep 10, 2008 - Ron Paul of Texas called on voters to back a third-party candidate for ... Paul says he instead will endorse a third-party candidate for president; These include Cynthia McKinney, Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, Chuck Baldwin

Also:

Ralph Nader wants liberals to back Rand Paul. Don't do it.

Surfers have a penchant for the environment, but it's good to hear him put Ron Paul up front and center.. also the 9/11 stuff, pretty good..

I used to post on the Surfline forums back 9 or 10 years ago and toward the end before the forum shut down I was posting a lot of 9/11 truth and Ron Paul topics for which I got a lot of flack... cool to see the #1 surfer in the world on board.

No he did not and you know that dannno. Ron Paul supported a slate of 3rd party candidates that agreed on some very broad general principles.
In the end, he endorsed Chuck Baldwin in 2008.

You are being nitpicky, he made have zero'd in on Baldwin at the end but he initially endorsed the slate of candidates as a better option than voting for the establishment.

No, I'm pushing the truth. It is a lie to say he endorsed Ralph Nader in 2008. You know that.

It depends if you are using the word "officially endorse" from establishment semantics or the word "endorse" by its dictionary definition..

If you are coming into town and I tell you about 4 great hotels to stay at, but then tell you which one is my favorite, technically I am endorsing all four hotels.

1.
declare one's public approval or support of.

I say you are using establishment semantics and I'm speaking in reality.

Before Ron officially endorsed Baldwin, he endorsed the four candidates together. He held a press conference to endorse (publicly support) them.

He's half Syrian.

I like Nader and Luke at We are Change. What do you have against him?

So when Newt Gingrich said "everyone on this stage will make a better president than Barack Obama" he endorsed Ron Paul?

So when Newt Gingrich said "everyone on this stage will make a better president than Barack Obama" he endorsed Ron Paul?

Did Newt Gingrich call a press conference and invite Ron Paul to endorse a common platform with him?

In a sense, however, Newt did endorse Ron over Obama. It depends on if you are using the stick-up-the-ass establishment politics definition of endorse, or if you are using the english word endorse. Endorse just means publicly support.. that's it.. the establishment stick-up-the-ass definition that you guys are talking about is 'official' endorsement, it's a weird semantics game they like to play to protect themselves.

In the end, what Ron did was entirely different and much more supportive than what Newt did.
