After more than a century of this absurd insane Keynesian statism experiment which has resulted in the complete destruction of free market capitalism and an increasing servitude to and oppression by the corrupt immoral unpatriotic state is there really much hope in the future? Even after the coming currency and sovereign debt crisis are things really ever going to change for the better in this country or just continue to get worse?

Politicians will just continue to blame capitalism and whatever foreign threat they can think of and say that what the country needs is more centralized planning and the majority of people will continue to believe it. Most people will continue to view the purist form of patriotism as supporting, killing and dying for the corrupt immoral statist regime in power as opposed to constructively fighting against it and actually fighting for freedom, liberty and moral justice. How many hundreds of millions lives will be sacrificed in this century for this collectively absurd insane experiment? Just what does it mean to be a patriotic American or a moral human being today?

It just depends on what filter your getting your information from. This is not anything new. The reason I used to be such a active member here was pretty much everything was run through multiple layers of viewpoints and perspectives. Right now there is a very loud and persistent faction here insisting we make America great again.

But the question is what is the best way to make America great again? For better and/or worse life wont ever be like it was in this country again. Its obviously a complex world but one of the most obvious things to learn from history is the insanity, immorality, destructiveness and inhumanity of statism throughout the past century. But people seem to be so collective by nature and seem to have very interest in historical truth so as a result we have more statism in this country now than we've ever had. So will the coming currency and sovereign debt crisis just result in more statism in this country or a possible chance to return to some sense of free market capitalism again?

As Ive stated before, the history of statism has clearly proven people are basically insane by nature. So if we just continue with more of the same insanity, whats the hope for the future?
