Lindsey Graham says GOP has gone 'batshit crazy,' jokingly endorses Trump

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJb208g8gFI

Speaking at the Washington Press Club Foundation Dinner, Senator Lindsey Graham mocked all of his former rivals in the 2016 Republican race on Thursday night, claiming that his party had gone "batshit crazy," saying that if you killed Ted Cruz on the Senate floor, that "nobody could convict you," and he said that he would endorse Donald Trump in the hopes "the grim magic" of those he endorses dropping out of the race "still exists."

If he was that funny during his run he would have gotten more votes. Says his endorsement is like Dr. Kevorkian of politics, after Jeb. Hope he endorses McCain too!

LMAO really? So what you are saying is that my 99th percentile ASVAB score, 98th percentile AFQT score, recruiters from all branches begging me to join, and Majors and Colonels bagging me (and unfortunately talking me into) going into Intelligence means that I was unqualified for the Chair Force?

You didn't even look at the link I posted before calling me a liar. What you posted are the standard guidelines, but exceptions are allowed all the way down to 25 and 26. Either way, the Army and Marines are generally for the dummies while the Air Force and Navy are for the brightest. I was actually accepted into the Air Force at 18 with what my recruiter called the highest ASVAB scores he'd ever seen. They even offered to give me a written guarantee for whatever job I wanted, but I decided college was the better choice.

Rand dropped out the race. Trump is the only one that can actually beat Hillary Clinton verses not voting, writing in or a minor party vote. Actively campaigning against Trump at this point means you are making a choice between a candidate actively pursuing curtailing our 2nd amendment rights vs Trump as someone who was a long time ago similar on assault weapons but now is actively defending 2nd amendment rights and in fact going a step further by proposing to remove barriers.

Hillary Clinton
https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/gun-violence-prevention/

- Keep military-style weapons off our streets. Military-style assault weapons do not belong on our streets. They are a danger to law enforcement and to our communities. Hillary will work to keep assault weapons off our streets and supports reinstating the assault weapons ban.
- Make straw purchasing a federal crime.
- Repeal the gun industry’s unique immunity protection.
- Comprehensive federal background check legislation.
- Closing the “Charleston Loophole.” Hillary will push Congress to close the loophole that allows a gun sale to proceed without a completed background check if that check has not been completed within three days.
- Tightening the gun show and Internet sales loophole if Congress won’t.
-Support legislation to stop domestic abusers from buying and possessing guns. Although federal law generally prohibits domestic abusers from purchasing or possessing guns, this protection does not apply to people in dating relationships or convicted stalkers. Hillary will fight for legislation to prohibit all of these domestic abusers and stalkers from buying guns.

vs

Donald Trump
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions/second-amendment-rights

GUN AND MAGAZINE BANS. Gun and magazine bans are a total failure. That’s been proven every time it’s been tried. Opponents of gun rights try to come up with scary sounding phrases like “assault weapons”, “military-style weapons” and “high capacity magazines” to confuse people. What they’re really talking about are popular semi-automatic rifles and standard magazines that are owned by tens of millions of Americans. Law-abiding people should be allowed to own the firearm of their choice. The government has no business dictating what types of firearms good, honest people are allowed to own.

NATIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY. The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states. A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving – which is a privilege, not a right – then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege

We haven't seen Trump go fully at Hillary yet.
What candidate can beat Hillary on the GOP side, if not Trump? Any polls to back it up?

Trump has national name recognition that Cruz and Rubio don't have. So, out of the gate, he has that going for him.

The one candidate left that I know could beat Hillary is Vermin Supreme. I don't need a poll to tell me he can. He tells me what I want to hear, and once more Americans hear his plans, he'll win in a massive landslide victory that nobody can see coming.
