Somebody else mentioned going Christmas Caroling, so I'd like to donate these songs to Ron Paul Meetup Groups EVERYWHERE. Hopefully, some others will take up the challenge and rewrite more of the old-time favorites that everyone knows to make it easy to spread our message this holiday season. ;);)

Each song should be in it's own thread, right?

We Wish You a Ron Paul Christmas
We Wish You a Ron Paul Christmas
We Wish You a Ron Paul Christmas
and a Happy New Year!

See how easy that was? I figured I'd start off with an easy one. :p

"Have Yourself a Merry Ron Paul Christmas"
Have yourself a merry Ron Paul Christmas,
Make the Yuletide bright,
Soon we'll see
our troubles fading out of sight.

Have yourself a merry Ron Paul Christmas,
Watch the New World Shine,
Bringing hope for freedom
Back to all Mankind

Ron Paul, Hope for the Holidays,
Joyful Holidays we'll spread,
And we know there are brighter days,
Golden Freedom Days ahead.

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow.
Raise a cheer for Liberty,
It's coming now!
And have yourself a merry Ron Paul Christmas, now!

I think it would be over the top to change the words. Why not just sing the regular words, but be all decked out in Ron Paul gear. Then hand them a slim jim or flyer? I would personally be turned off to the lyrics being changed, unless I was already a supporter (then I would love it!). Make sense?

I'd recommend singing mostly regular Christmas songs, maybe ending up with one for the doctor, or throw one in here and there. I sure wouldn't recommend singing all modified songs.

I agree. Regular songs, maybe end with "We wish you a Ron Paul Christmas"....

but don't change any others.......that would not come off well IMO.

Here's one for Rudy. Couldn't resist.

Walkin' Round in Women's Underwear
(to be sung to "Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland")

Lacy things -- the wife is missin',
Didn't ask -- her permission,
I'm wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the store -- there's a teddy,
Little straps -- like spaghetti,
It holds me so tight,
Like handcuffs at night,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the office there's a guy named Melvin,
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say, "Are you ready?" I'll say,"Whoa, Man!"
"Let's wait until our wives are out of town!"

Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress -- like Madonna,
Put on some eyeshade,
And join the parade,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!

Lacy things... missin',
Didn't ask... permission,
Wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!
