John Kasich praises anti-Semitic Israel-hater

During a recent interview, Presidential contender John Kasich praised (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMTZzsro3SY) a well known anti-Semite and Israel hater, a person called "an anti-Semite in a seven-minute profanity-laden rant" (http://freebeacon.com/culture/stern-rips-roger-waters-as-anti-semite-israel-hater/) by satellite radio host Howard Stern. Kasich repeated his declaration of admiration last night during a televised townhall. The activist singled out by Kasich as one of the greatest is also infamous as "a longtime anti-Israel activist who supports the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement" (http://freebeacon.com/culture/stern-rips-roger-waters-as-anti-semite-israel-hater/).

What does this say about Kasich? That he embraces this kind of vile hatred is shocking, and should disqualify him as a serious candidate for President. The other thing that should be disqualified as unmitigated nonsense, drivel, agitprop and Orwellian smear is everything written prior to this sentence.

This is pure nonsense, the kind that is produced during campaign season by third rate hacks, yet still might be reported second-hand on major media outlets by some talking head with raised eyebrows and a scolding demeanor. But that only happens when the establishment media doesn't support a candidate. With Kasich being a fully vetted, establishment-approved and backed candidate, nonsense like this would never be reported. Even those who would regularly criticize the artist-activist in question will dutifully remain silent when Kasich cites him as a remarkable artist. Dishonest smears by association are saved for those out of favor with the establishment media.

For supporters of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, the illusion of an unbiased mainstream media has been shattered by biased reporting on their candidates this year, but it's old news to supporters of other candidates in the past who have suffered the same treatment.
