View Full Version : DONATION: Why isn't his myspace sending out donation requests?

He has tens of thousand of friends on Myspace, and I know his need for donations is great. Yet, I have NOT HEARD anything about it from that source. I heard about it here. If I didn't come to this forum, I would never know there is a rush for donations.

I think someone needs to contact his myspace peopls and get the ball rolling on that.

I "happened" to go by his Profile today and there is a little message from him as a footnote.. to donate, but it was like - inconsequential.

No disrepsect, but I do NOT think the Myspace Ron Paul management is on their toes about this.

Someone with pull here get on the horn and have them send out a request.

?? Weird. I seen the second one cause I went to his site... and he had a small "p.s."

"PS: Because of people like you, I don't need the $100 million the establishment candidates will have. But I do need your help. $25, $50, $100, or even more--whatever you can send would do so much good, and be so much help. Thank you!"

I mean, it just seems to be that they would put out a more "needed" approach.

I just went thru all my bulletins... nope. I DO NOT THINK those bulletins are sent out that the person is doing. Wait. These are BLOGS. I think he needs to Bulletin his BLOGS. I did not know he had a blog available and people will NOT just come in and read it.

The campaign should definitely do this.

Would it be worth it to send the suggestion to Justine?

I messaged them, but I do not think it will work. I messaged them before without reply. I think someone with Juice should contact them...

Bradley in DC should weigh in on this. He's close to the people in HQ.

Justine Lam

justine.lam@ronpaul2008.com

Ron Paul's eCampaign Director.

Please, everyone, do NOT email Justine or the campaign right now. Until they can move into the new office space (just one metro stop closer to DC), they are completely overwhelmed. Not only that, but I'm guessing that half of the campaign staff are in Iowa which only exacerbates the problem here.

This idea will not affect this quarter's numbers. These are great ideas, but please show a little restraint--they'll still be good ideas in a week or two.

Great thinking, Brad!

Not to mention, folks, that I've seen donation requests from the campaign under the bulletins section on my own home screen.

Ask yourself:

Which Ron Paul mySpace did you befriend: The Ron Paul one, or the Ron Paul 2008 one? I think I did both.
