Time to refocus people.

If Rand does want to be President one day he should go via the Governors office of Kentucky.

The rest of us should be focused on low level local races. The hope of getting one person into government who will magically change everything is delusional.

The FSP project is about to tick over which will mean a lot of energy there.

If anything we should be focused on the NH and KY state assemblies and governor-ships. Prove that libertarian values work and provide secure platforms for future national candidates.

We need to get the Congressional liberty caucus up to 10 or fifteen people, enough to tip votes.

How the hell do we not even have any Mayors? We can't get a Mayor and turn a city around but we are 100% sure we could turn the country around with naught but the Presidency?

Fundamentals are the building blocks of fun.

If we did actually want to split the GOP and get a real third party going it would need a solid base. A majority of a state assembly and a governor jumping ship along with a senator and a two or three congressmen all from the same state would make a viable base for a third party. The GOP would be instantly eliminated from an entire state.

But unless we start recruiting billionaires left right and centre, we need to start much much smaller and show real result with really happy constituencies.

We need to show that Libertarian policies lead to high employment, innovation and growth, high education, minority integration, low crime rates, population growth and all that other good stuff.

Exactly what I've been saying all along.
