So they are saying Rand sent out a press release yet Englander is in Iowa and hadn't even been able to make it to NH to meet Rand to discuss it

See my post on the importance of staff being fully bought in ideologically: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?489588-We-MUST-Understand-THIS-to-Do-Better-in-Other-States-Races

His staff being overwhelmingly not Ron supporters in the past, his watering down of the message, and the unforeseen dynamics of this cycle (ISIS, Trump, etc.) ensured he'd never get traction.

Next time he should run as an unabashed libertarian and fill his staff with people committed to our movement, instead of Santorum, Huntsman, and Romney staff, or the like.

That was sorta the point of Rand 2016, hiring people who were not emotionally involved in their decisionmaking. I know it was what a lot of people here wanted, but also understand others were opposed to this. There were supposed to be friendly or at least fair local GOPs that were put in place from Ron 2012, but they got no support in the off years and got pushed out of office.
