Got the corvette back from the sign shop yesterday. This is the very first picture. I should have washed it but anyway here it is...

Tomorrow I drive it from Memphis to Des Moines. Until the 2nd I'll be driving it to all the Rand Paul events in the state. Hope to see some of you there!

P.S. If you google "Ron Paul Corvette" you can see more pics of the car... the only thing different is the doors and the "Ron Paul R3volution" changed to Rand Paul.

Drove the car around the debate venue for a while before the debate started. A few people noticed and one woman stopped to take a picture. There weren't many people outside so I came back to my hotel room. Tomorrow I will drive it to the 2 scheduled Rand Paul events...

Just got back to my room. I had a great time chasing Rand half way across the state. Even had a TV guy interview me but I'll never know if it actually gets on the air (don't know what channel he's with). When people ask me about the car I encourage them to go to caucus for Rand. After telling them what his stand is (Liberty) they always are surprised and hopefully some of them will take the time to caucus.

I wish... I'm glad I could make this trip since it's only about and 8 hour drive from Memphis. I did check NH and I really really want to go but it would take 2 days to drive each way and my wife was all supportive about this trip but I'm pretty sure another trip so soon would cause some "problems"...

As it is I have to be a bit careful to not make TOO bad an impression on the people I pass on the freeway. I try to keep it under 85 and I have a radar detector as well as very keen eyes so I haven't gotten a ticket yet but realistically I would need 2 days to get it to N.H...

I imagine the cool factor of a corvette + the total 'paint' job draws a positive reaction where as having the giant sticker just makes me come across as a political douche.

Either way, I dig it.

I seldom get any negative reaction. In fact I can only
think of one time. There are numerous ones online though. Especially when I posted it on CorvetteForums. Some of the guys there had no nice thing to say...

I always appreciate any Ron or Rand displays on cars, homes or businesses. I like your statement. I'd give it a little time. I bet you get only positive responses.
