via a betting site. I wanna capitalize on this. And no it's not wrong for me to do so, remember the founding fathers intended this country to be a capitalistic society. And Ron Paul is all for the free market. Plus anything I profit by betting on the 16th I will donate to the campaign even moer.

Is internet gambling legal in New York state, can anyone tell me? I googled but can't seem to find the info.

Also, how exactly does internet betting work?

I heard one site is allowing you to bet if Ron Paul takes in more than 6mil on the 16th or not.

Yes I know this is in the wrong section, but I have to leave for school in 5 minutes and I don't have time to read tthe decsriptions of the 50+ subforums on this site to figure out which one is hte right one.

Here is the sites

Under US politics, click Ron paul's name...that is the over under for the 16.

Under presidential nominations, click republican party and you can bet there.

As for laws/rules... http://www.sportsbook.com/info/houserules.php

They accept ALL Visa and Mastercard transactions over the phone. :)

(Take the over bet on 6 million....you can't loose :D)

...we are not going to research for you.

PS .... DON'T DO IT.....you will feel bad right after you do...even if you win....

I was tempted to, but in the end it's better to donate your spare money on the 16th. It would be cool to make some money and donate the winnings, but who knows?

The illegality is not internet gambling itself. It has to do with the funding of gambling accounts. But anyway, let's just say people gamble in NY...

Not sure what you mean. You deposit money (which has gotten trickier these days -- Sportsbook takes credit cards over the phone, though) and make your wager. For the over 6 million bet, you'd be risking $200 to win $100 (in other words, return $300 to you) or another amount in that ratio. Assuming you win, you can withdraw via check.

On a side note, be careful with the fine print. Sportsbook offers a 10% bonus on first deposits (so if you deposit $200, you will have $220 in your account), but you must "rollover" the money a certain number of times. A single wager will not allow you to withdraw, unless you reject the bonus money.

Funding accounts really can be a hassle these days. Being a student, I assume you can find plenty of people willing to take your action, and probably offering better odds than the sportsbooks. Good luck.

Shoot I wanted to make some decent money, they don't have odds for 20mil, to 100mil.
