Yesterday Ben was smeared by Maggie Haberman of the NYT in this article -

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2016/01/13/super-pac-backing-jeb-bush-uses-conspiracy-minded-journalist-in-ad/?_r=1

"Ben Swann is an award-winning television journalist who, on his own YouTube channel, raised questions about the collapse of one of the buildings at the World Trade Center and about official accounts of the 2012 mass shooting in Sandy Hook, Conn. And now he is being used in the Right to Rise spot to validate the group’s points about Mr. Rubio’s missed votes."

And today Dave Weigel (who I believe has smeared Ben in the past himself, I'll look that up!) from the Washington Post penned this in Ben's defense -

"Atlanta-based TV commentator Ben Swann is used to seeing his work recycled. Early in his career, in New Mexico, he racked up awards for spot news reporting. After President Obama took office, he launched a video series called "Reality Check," the sort of behind-the-news feature that assures his audience that they are being rescued from the lies of the day.

The twist: Swann is an extremely skeptical libertarian."

That beats being a gullible liberal or hypocrite republican.
So what's the problem ?

They thought they eliminated all those types of newsmen years ago and that's the problem. Don't want them spreading like bugs.

Journalists you mean. The "they" you are talking about are the newsmen. :p Hardly any journalists left. People forget that journalists can have opinions on the stuff they write about. Magazines can have opinions... And there's nothing wrong with that, if you are open about your bias... It's the way you view the world as a journalist that's worth reporting. Simply reporting facts has never interested anyone. There has to be some kind of story.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Ben Swann and 9/11 truth = winning! The GOP frontrunner questioned whether dubya could have prevented 9/11 or not.
