Democrats successfully defended the Federal Reserve Tuesday, voting to filibuster Sen. Rand Paul’s bill to impose an audit on the secretive central bank and dealing a blow to a yearslong effort.
..........
The filibuster left Republicans seven votes shy of the 60 votes needed to advance their bill, likely dooming the legislation for the foreseeable future.

What you two dumbasses don't understand is that we now have a target list of who we can apply pressure on. It only takes a few to flip (or to get unelected) in order for this to pass next time around. It might take a few tries, but we'll get there... unless of course we just give up and become defeatists like you seem to have done.

Probably because Democrats need all that fiat money the Fed creates in order to pay for the promises of free stuff they buy votes with (not that there aren't Republicans doing the same thing.)

Makes no sense that Wyden helps Rand to block the Patriot Act but then votes no on Auditing the Fed?

Do you think they want the "endless" supply of money to their welfare state to be shut down?
