Did Rambo ever stop loving Osama?
http://www.apfn.net/messageboard/4-21-03/discussion.cgi.41.html

Rambo shows his well-known solidarity with the Afghan freedom fighters (Muhajadeen / al Qaeda) who battled the Soviet army in the 1980s.

Jane's Intelligence Review - August 1, 2001 (http://www.mwarrior.com/alqaeda.htm):

"During the 1980s, resistance fighters in Afghanistan developed a worldwide recruitment and support network with the aid of the USA, Saudi Arabia and other states. After the 1989 Soviet withdrawal, this network, which equipped, trained and funded thousands of Muslim fighters, came under the control of Osama bin Laden."

But those were the old days, right? The relationship between "al-Qaeda" and the US government ended a long time ago. It was just a "marriage of convenience" from the Cold War. When Zbigniew Brzezinski told the Afghans in the late 70's: "Your cause is right. God is on your side (http://www.prisonplanet.com/god_is_on_your_god.ram)", he really didn't mean it. What he really meant to do was call them "cowardly evil-doers", but it just came out wrong.

The only problem with this concept is that it simply doesn't square with the facts.

"Skopje, 26 September, 2001 (http://globalresearch.ca/articles/MNA110A.html): Daily Vecer read on the relation between the members of the so-called ONA National Liberation Army, UCK in Albanian and the Number One world's terrorist - Usamah Bin-Ladin. The writings were supported with photos that clearly showed that the Mojahedin are fighting in the 'ONA' [National Liberation Army] lines....

Dnevnik and Nova Makedonija also focus on the financial relations among the terrorist organizations in the Balkans such as the 'disbanded' KLA Kosovo Liberation Army, UCK in Albanian from Kosovo, amnestied OVPMB (Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac) from southern Serbia and the intelligence connections between the terrorist groups acting in Macedonia and Usamah Bin-Ladin's organization Al-Qa'idah.

Dnevnik reports the text published in the British daily Times claiming that Bin-Ladin and KLA have a 'joint' cash box in the United States. There is information that Bin-Ladin's collaborators raise money through an organization allegedly for the Albanian refugees after the Kosovo crisis. The raised money is then allocated to Bin-Ladin's terrorists, but also to KLA fighters. Some of the men in KLA are trained in the camps led by Bin-Ladin.

The Times does not state the name of the organization, but it is obvious that it is a "humanitarian organization" acting in the mosques and Muslim cultural centres in the United States. Under the veil that money for 'Kosovo's refugees' or 'Afghanistan's children' is being raised, the organization accumulates large amounts of dollars. This is not additional expenditure for the Muslims that live in the United States, as according to the American laws the persons that support the humanitarian organizations have tax reliefs, so the Muslims working in the United States are stimulated to give money in the organization. Some of money is won back directly from the American budget through the tax reliefs. The raised money is used for buying weapons.

The Times stresses that some of these organizations were established under CIA's auspices in the time when the American intelligence agency supported the Afghanistan Islamists in the fight against the Soviet Union. But even when the Russian Army withdrew from Afghanistan they continued to raise money.

Money for the KLA was raised in a similar manner, under US auspices, as that helped to oust Slobodan Milosevic's regime in Yugoslavia."

Bin Laden Puppetmasters Smoked Out In Balkans (http://www.libertyforum.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=news_international&Number=257846&page=&view=&sb=&o=&vc=1&t=1)

The mid-October [2001] revelations that an Osama bin Laden terrorist training camp is operating in the U.S.-controlled zone of Kosovo, are only the tip of the iceberg. Now, in a sort of "Operation Truth,'' Macedonian and other sources have begun to reveal publicly what until now had been known to only a relatively small group of people, about the narco-terrorist connections between the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and the Taliban, and between these two groups and high-level U.S. and British intelligence agencies. Operation Truth is now affecting the strategic domain, provoking a reevaluation of the conventional way of viewing "international terrorism.'' The path leads to those strategists who have used terrorism as a weapon of irregular warfare.

Chechnya Continues To Bleed (http://www.libertyforum.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=news_international&Number=382771&page=&view=&sb=&o=&vc=1&t=1)

There's no doubt that the CIA was behind the training and financing of the Chechen separatists in the first place. "Former Foreign Minister Ilias Ahmadov, with suspected links to the US intelligence, former Vice-premier Ahmed Zakayev, with suspected links to the European intelligence agencies" leads to the $64,000 question of more recent CIA and other NATO countries' intelligence agencies' direct aid to the Chechen insurgency.

Some Russian press reports from 1999, reported this (http://www.aeronautics.ru/chechnya/092999.htm):

"To accomplish this Russia must concentrate on controlling Chechen borders and especially the border with Georgia, which serves as the main conduit for mercenaries and illegal shipments of weapons and ammunition to Chechnya. The Georgian border is also the so-called 'point of interference': American CIA and other foreign intelligence services are heavily involved in Chechnya with Georgia serving as their base of operations. This is how an American-made anti-aircraft radar appeared in Chechnya along with a number of American-made 'Stinger' portable anti-aircraft surface-to-air missile systems."

A number of the 9-11 hijackers fought in the Chechen "jihad." So did Moussaoui. The way the FBI higher-ups handled this was interesting to say the least (http://www.libertyforum.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=news_crime&Number=245883&page=0&view=&sb=&o=&vc=1&t=-1):

"A headquarters official edited the Minneapolis memo to remove mention of the Chechens before forwarding it to FBI lawyers."

This information is now not only being completely covered up, it is being used as disinfo to further shred the Constitution and the Bill of Rights by trying to justify another antiterrorism bill that would make it easier for the government to use secret surveillance warrants against "lone wolf" terrorism suspects, claiming that Moussaoui could not be tied to any know terrorist group. Most likely, the case will now go to a secret tribunal where there would conveniently be no public records of this case and the circumstances surrounding Moussaoui's ventures in Chechnya as a "holy warrior."

The CIA arranged for HUM guerrillas to also fight in Bosnia & Kosovo (http://www.saag.org/papers5/paper433.html)

"...the CIA asked the ISI to divert part of the dregs of the HUM and the HUJI to Bosnia to assist the Muslims there in their fight against the Serbs. The transfer to Bosnia was funded by the Saudi Intelligence, the arms and ammunition were given by the Iranian Intelligence and the leadership and motivation were provided by serving and retired officers of the ISI and the Turkish intelligence. Omar Sheikh, who masterminded the kidnapping of Daniel Pearl of the "Wall Street Journal", had his jihadi inoculation in Bosnia just as bin Laden had his in Afghanistan. From Bosnia, they were diverted to Kosovo by the CIA and thereafter again left in the lurch after they had done the USA's hatchet job in the Balkans....."

It's just so much easier to say that Rambo stopped loving Osama, that the Venice flight schools were not (http://www.madcowprod.com/index36.html) used for covert ops, that the CIA never (http://propagandamatrix.com/bin_laden_treated_us_hospital.html) met with Osama bin Laden between July 4th and July 14th of 2001, that at least 5 hijackers were not trained at secure US military installations, and all were (http://www.madcowprod.com/index35.html) devout Muslims.

It's just easier that way.
