It's a good play... gets rid of popular incumbents, allowing for special elections for open seats in a state that is trending Republican. And that's with the House as the last segment of state government under Democrat control and close to flipping. It would help a lot with getting his agenda through - although I worry (and Rand himself said) that single-party government tends to spend more, even if it's Republican.
