Iron-fisted moderating is on the way.

Yes, I'm kidding. I'm probably almost too laissez-faire, but I think Josh and Bryan provide a enormous service to all of us by doing all they can to make this forum work, so I wanted to help in some way. To many of the new members, you should know how diligently both those two worked when this forum was experiencing growing pains from Ron's burgeoning support online.

If I can help them and the active Ron Paul grassroot'rs out there doing all they can to win this thing by trying to keep the board organized to smoothly facilitate successful project planning, then I'll do the best I can.

I, for one, welcome our new Cowlesy and MsDoodahs overlords.

Seriously, though, I have spent more time on this forum than I ever have anywhere on the Internet since before it existed. I actually thought, when I heard about the fact that new moderators were being sought, that perhaps I should apply for the job. I'm always browsing the forums at work, and I only sleep a few hours a night anyway... :)

Then I realized that it would just be useless because I am too libertarian to be an effective moderator. I'd probably delete one post per month. :) Of course, maybe there's tons of true spam here that I've just never seen because the moderating team is so skilled.

I'm familiar with both of you guys from your posts and I'm confident that you will make excellent moderators. I think that this forum is a model of what a libertarian society should be like, with the "police" wielding their power reluctantly and everyone having a fairly tolerant attitude.

Maybe I'm just glad that me3 didn't get the job. :D (Just kidding, me3. :) )

Yes, good choices. What some of you may not know is that I was actually chosen first by Josh and Bryan, but I turned the job down. As the most popular poster on this forum, becoming a power hungry moderator would put me in between a rock and a hard place. I'm sorry again Josh and Bryan that I had to decline, but I think it's better this way. Whoever these two new guys are I'm sure will do a fine job as moderators.

It's all right Ron Paul Fan, your monumental tallents would be underused in such a capacity anyway. You should focus on solving world hunger and peace, cold fusion, and flying up to make sure no meteoroids are appoaching our planet. Godspeed!! ;)

Exactly. Josh and Bryan practically begged me and they wouldn't leave me alone. It got pretty annoying after a while. I finally had to say, if you guys don't leave me alone I'll leave the forum all together. And of course they stopped immediately for fear a mutiny would break if the forum ever learned that they ran me out of town. I'm not sure if I can solve those things you mentioned, but if anybody can do it it's probably me. Take care of yourself, and each other! :)
