President Truman in 1949 recognized the State of Israhell because (1) he had a large Jewish Constituency and(2) Ben Gurion paid 2,000,000 dollars in cash. He completely and totally ignored the rights of 1,300,000 Muslims in favor of 650,000 Jewish immigrants.

"I am of my flat prediction that Israel is here to stay.

For Israel was not created in order to disappear - Israel will endure and flourish. It is the child of hope and the home of the brave. It can neither be broken by adversity nor demoralized by success. It carries the shield of democracy and it honors the sword of freedom; and no area of the world has ever had an overabundance of democracy and freedom. "

LYNDON BAINES JOHNSON (http://www.nysun.com/opinion/lbjs-secret-israel-tapes/78712/)

Beyond providing crucial diplomatic support for Israel during the Six Day War and in U.N. debates that followed it, Johnson supplied Israel with three significant arms packages in 1965, 1966, and 1968. His policies laid the foundation for the U.S.-Israeli strategic partnership that continues to exist.

"Israel - the last of the settler colonies (https://www.opendemocracy.net/arab-awakening/jonas-fossli-gjers%C3%B8/israel-last-of-settler-colonies)"

Rewind the clock back a century and you will find a world teeming with settler colonies engaged in battle with ‘unruly natives.’ Today only one remains. Israel is the last of a dying breed, the last of the settler colonies. The conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians is often described as unique - a conflict with no historical precedent. But viewed through the eyes of an imperial historian it is on the contrary reassuringly, or rather, disconcertingly familiar. In a largely post-colonial world, colonial conflicts are certainly harder to spot. But there are also less savoury grounds for not recognising the events of today’s Middle East as analogous with those that took place in America, Africa and Australia in the age of imperialism: simply because the treatment of the indigenous peoples of these continents has been universally brandished as immoral and any comparison would reflect unfavourably upon Israel.

History offers a reservoir of vicarious experience, and tapping into it presents a framework with which to analyse the dynamics between the two sides of the current conflict, namely that of settler colonialism. This particular mode of imperialism is hallmarked by the dispossession of land and the creation of a new state in which the original population is deprived of their rights by the incoming settlers. The indigenous people are cast as ‘others’ and dehumanised – written out of the settler state’s creation myth, whilst resistance is simply branded mindless terrorism. Secure in their just cause as the bringers of civilisation and progress, the settler state will casually resort to the use of disproportionate violence to quell resistance or employ ethnic cleansing to expand territorially on land declared res nullius...

9/11 Commission Director: Iraq War Launched to Protect Israel
(http://www.antiwar.com/ips/mekay.php?articleid=2208)
by Emad Mekay

Iraq under Saddam Hussein did not pose a threat to the United States but it did to Israel, which is one reason why Washington invaded the Arab country, according to a speech made by a member of a top-level White House intelligence group.

IPS uncovered the remarks by Philip Zelikow, who is now the executive director of the body set up to investigate the terrorist attacks on the United States in September 2001 – the 9/11 commission – in which he suggests a prime motive for the invasion just over one year ago was to eliminate a threat to Israel, a staunch U.S. ally in the Middle East.

Truman Adviser Recalls May 14, 1948 US Decision to Recognize Israel (http://www.wrmea.org/1991-may-june/truman-adviser-recalls-may-141948-us-decision-to-recognize-israel.html)

the Israeli-Palestinian problem, , a new generation of Americans is asking an old question: Why must the US deal with this seemingly intractable dispute?

The answer, unfortunately, is that the US is largely responsible for the problem because of two American decisions in 1947 and 1948.

An "insider's account" of the discussions leading up to these decisions has just been published by former Secretary of Defense Clark Clifford, one of the few living parties to the discussions leading to partition

Most people who knew the Middle East at first hand opposed the partition plan, adopted by the United Nations on November 29, 1947. Patently unfair, it awarded 56 percent of Palestine to its 650,000 Jewish inhabitants, and 44 percent to its 1,300,000 Muslim and Christian Arab inhabitants.

Partition was adopted only after ruthless arm-twisting by the US government and by 26 pro-Zionist US senators who, in telegrams to a number of UN member states, warned that US goodwill in rebuilding their World War II-devastated economies might depend on a favorable vote for partition.

Immediately after the plan was adopted, however, extensive fighting broke out between Jews and Arabs, just as US diplomats had predicted. The Arab states categorically rejected the partition by outside parties of an overwhelmingly Arab land

******************

So with a stroke of a pen , 1,300,000 Muslim residing in Palestine became homeless, became foreigners in their own land.

But , stupid son of bitches pretend not to know why they hate our guts.

The Rothschilds bailed out the bankrupt US government in the 30's. They still hold the mortgage.
