What a load of happy horseshit! This is a textbook case of the argumentum ad populum (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum) fallacy - "democracy's legitimacy," my ass ...

Democracy has NOTHING to do with "persuading" anyone of anything. Quite the opposite, in fact.

It has everything to do with FAILING to persuade others - and then forcing them to comply anyway.

(IOW: It is essentially indistinguishable from any other species of statism - it truly differs only in the facade it presents ...)
