Well, that didn't take long:

As Paris reels from terrorist attacks that have claimed at least 128 lives, fierce blame for the carnage is being directed toward American whistleblower Edward Snowden and the spread of strong encryption catalyzed by his actions.

Now the Paris attacks are being used an excuse to demand back doors.

CIA Director John Brennan chimed in, too.

Of course, this was planned all along. From September:

Privately, law enforcement officials have acknowledged that prospects for congressional action this year are remote. Although "the legislative environment is very hostile today," the intelligence community's top lawyer, Robert S. Litt, said to colleagues in an August e-mail, which was obtained by The Post, "it could turn in the event of a terrorist attack or criminal event where strong encryption can be shown to have hindered law enforcement."

There is value, he said, in "keeping our options open for such a situation."

I was going to write a definitive refutation to the meme that it's all Snowden's fault, but Glenn Greenwald beat me to it.

Right. Cause it takes all kinds of planning and coordination over unencrypted phone lines to shoot up a bunch of unarmed people. It's not like school kids in America could pull this off.

Are they sure it wasn't some random YouTube video to blame?

Title from quoted article:

Exploiting Emotions About Paris to Blame Snowden, Distract from Actual Culprits Who Empowered ISIS

Or exploiting it to bring up "gun free zones" in Paris? Or immigration? Or lack of boots on the ground?

Hey at least Parisians have enough brain cells not to turn a mass killing into a mockery by declaring war on flags.

But yeah, no one seems to want to talk about the 40 countries that are supporting ISIS that Putin gave intelligence about to the G20 in Turkey over the weekend. Or the intelligence he gave showing the extent of ISIS oil trade with G20 members and others.

Because I guess once you know what the real problem is then it's about changing policy and taking responsibility.

The *****ONLY**** ones responsible for the Paris attacks are the continuing criminal enterprise known as the United States of America, France and the UK.

Hey CIA, perhaps if all you geniuses would simply stop funneling weapons, supplies, and funds to these people all of this BS would at once cease? But, blaming it on technology--that the NSA created--really? Wow, must really think lowly of the average American's brain power, eh?

No, that would Tony Blair's warmongering and neocon interventionist malfeasances that has resulting this. He is the sole perpetrator for causing the eventual formation ISIS all along, oh and that forgetting George Bush.
