True. Will change wording for future posts.

Michael Scheuer!
In an ideal world, he would be Rand's CIA director, or National Security Advisor, but his stances on national security differentiate too much from Scheuer. Plus, he brings a lot of baggage, based on is politically incorrect writings. He would never make it through a confirmation hearing, and would be tarred/feathered as an anti-semite.

How is that a flaw?

It makes him harder to be confirmed by the senate.

What about Director of National Intelligence, who is the CIA Director's boss?

I'm hoping that he will shut it down.

Shut the CIA down? Why would he do that? National defense is a legitimate function of the federal government under the Constitution.

You misunderstood me. I'm hoping he will shut down the Office of National Intelligence, not the CIA.

My mistake.

I disagree, though. I think the position of DNI should be kept and that there should be a lot of consolidation within the intelligence community.
