Should our meetup groups sponsor local blood drives?

AND/OR

Should we set a date where we all give blood on the same day.
"Ron Paul Blood Bomb" or "Blood Donor Day Courtesy of Ron Paul Supporters"

What do you think?

one star?! who are you people?

Doing a humanitarian effort in the name of Ron Paul wouldn't get us good press?

It costs NOTHING. (that means FREE, I won't beg you for money that will take away from unfinished projects (http://ronpaulgraphs.com/chipin.html) like everyone else yay!)

Practical (.... unlike the blimp which is doomed to fail and embarrass us all, headline "Paultards' Blimp is FAIL")

Save some lives and get good press for Doctor Paul, sounds good to me.

I will never again participate in donating blood, and/or plasma.

You guys need to do some research about those types of things... No one is going to keep a record of my DNA............ I WILL NEVER DO ONE OF THOSE THINGS AGAIN

I thought of this before, but it didn't seem like it got much traction

2nd to last post

I still think it'd be a good idea. I've never given blood and when I used to get blood tests I hated it, but I'd do it for Ron Paul.

We could even have a meter showing how many pints have been given lol

I've always thought a blood drive would be good idea and good press. RP being a doctor and all.

Here I thought the idea was orginal :o.

I've had blood tests before but never for a donation. Its just a prick. We just need to set up a date that doesn't interfere with important dates like the tea party, state's primaries, delegate deadlines, etc.

Some places pay you, we could pledge to donate the profits to the campaign/grassroots project.

How about January 13th, a Saturday?
What do you think?

Be careful whenever you have a biopsy or surgery done, then. Blood is not often kept, but tissue that is sent for pathology workup is kept for a minimum of TEN years by law, and often for decades. And if that tissue is processed for a pathology workup, YOU DON'T OWN IT, the hospital does, unless you demand it back. ALL of it.

How long does a pathologist's wax tissue block last? A few years ago, the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology studied the flu epidemic by analyzing tissue blocks from soldiers that died in the 1918 flu epidemic.
