Obama has threatened to veto the $612 billion National Defense Authorization Act – also known as House Resolution 1735, or the NDAA (http://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20150928/CRPT-114hrpt270.pdf) – because it contains provisions blocking the plans to shut down the detention camp at the US base in Guantanamo Bay, and because it avoids a cap on defense spending by padding a special account reserved for bankrolling wars. The Senate passed the NDAA (https://www.rt.com/usa/317940-ndaa-senate-defense-veto/) on Wednesday with a veto-proof majority.

Okay. Heh. So, then Obama threatened a veto against a veto proof majority. Great. Whatever. Obama is "King", I suppose. But what about that stuff in the bold text up there? What is this special account? What banks manage it? How much money is in it? Where does this money come from? Can an audit of this special account show that the money comes exclusively from Congressional sources and funding? Or does some of it come from somewhere else?

Note that the source is RT. And, so, it is a given that the Russians are on top of this and following it. That's another aspect, though.

I don't know. When I see speak of hidden systems of finance, I think of the time that Truman put intelligence agencies directly into the mix with banking infrastructure. I had mentioned that briefly here... http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?456224-72-points-of-BRICS-Summit-Declaration&p=5864563&viewfull=1#post5864563

Yeah, I get that, Zip. But what about this special account reserved for bankrolling wars? We're just going to let that slide? Move along? Nothing to see here? That's major stuff, man. That's a rather obtuse way to look at it by just remaining content that the bill was vetoed. Don't you think? There still remains the fact that there is a special account reserved for bankrolling wars. What is this special account? What banks manage it? How much money is in it? Where does this money come from? Can an audit of this special account show that the money comes exclusively from Congressional sources and funding? Or does some of it come from somewhere else?

Obviously, this should be opposed.

But, to tell you the truth, this amount of money makes no real difference one way or the other in Ukraine, nor (now that's Russia's directly involved) in Syria.

Our warmongering overlords have been outmaneuvered by Moscow.

Unless they want to go full retard and start a nuclear war, there's nothing they can do.

Assad is staying in power and the Crimea is gone...Russia will never give it up, ever.

The only question is how much more good money (ahem, your money, taxpayers) they'll throw after bad to save face....which is all they're doing right now.
