(FYI: I have nothing to do with this project personally other than having donated to it and wanting it to succeed.)
There is an effort to put a full-page ad (http://upshizzle.com/pfiles/8555/capturedata3282342.jpg) about Ron Paul's gun rights record in Shotgun News. Shotgun News is read by lots of gun rights people, which is to an extent another untapped electorate.
Remember -- the gun rights issue has LOST ELECTIONS for certain anti-gun candidates before. Most of the candidates running today have lousy gun rights records. Ron Paul's record is, of course, impeccable -- it's just that lots of people don't know about him or his record yet.
Gun rights is a wedge issue -- there are lots of people who will vote on that issue alone. Let's get Ron Paul's impeccable record in front of those people and support the CHIP-IN (http://gunads.chipin.com/advertisements-in-gun-magazines).
I just tossed it another $30 so it is now $1,000 shy of its December 15 goal. I know we have so many other projects (Iowa, NH, Blimp, Tea Party, etc) but I know the forums can quickly raise the $1,000. And I think this in particular has a very potent bang for the buck factor.
