"Remember that guy Kerry who went against Bush last election? Yeah, me too - he was polling in at 3% in December 2003. Ron Paul is polling at 8% right now. Now, what were you saying again?"

Same goes for Carter and Bubba. Both those clowns were supposedly polling in the single digits before the primaries.

I think there was something kind of corrupt going on there...

I mean, he didn't have the grassroots, Dean did.

Dean was and is also perceievably mentally unbalanced.

I doubt that. He is loose with his mouth and shoots from the hip, but the guy was a doctor and Governor of a state. Do I agree with him, No. Is he mentally unbalanced, Probably not.

Dean is probably more akin to Huckabee, mentally off and peaking to early

we're more like Reagan a small government underdog everyone dismissed, plus inflation is high like it was after carter before reagan

I know everyone likes to force the reagan/paul analogy, but it's quite fitting actually

It doesn't matter if he's actually mentally unbalanced; people perceived him as being so.

Well, something intangible got peeps to go with Kerry and abandon Dean like rats jumping out of a sinking ship.

FWIW, I'm well trained in NLP and clinical hypnosis, and can tell peeps who aren't wrapped too tight from those who merely have some internal communcation challenges or lack of skills sets, and Dr. Dean is definitely the former.
