Seriously, WTF did Rand do to her? It always seems more than just a typical media smear

It is because he and Ron won't come back on her show since the infamous CRA interview.

Never underestimate the irrational rage of a Fred Savage impersonator scorned. Sodomites, whether hes, shes, or its (I'm not sure which in Mancow's case) should not be assumed to operate on the basis of such things as logic or reason.

You know, there's this thing called context...

And if she went after Paul, I'd hardly consider that special since MSNBC would probably go after any Republican with ire.

Just a thought -- how could going on Maddow's show and having her go off the rails on him possibly hurt Rand in the GOP primary?

She went through a diatribe about how dysfunctional the republican party is right now and culminated into how it is a reflection of Rand's "futile personal crusade" to become president. She uses extraordinary personal effort to attempt to burn him

That's par for the course. She actually had a Ron Paul (pledged to Mitt) delegate on in 2012 when she was begging for Ron to come on her show. She tried to get the kid to join in trashing Mitt and he stayed professional, wouldn't go there.

Rand's success is a personal slap in her face. She tried to do the hit on his career, and failed abysmally. Even with an underwhelming presidential campaign, he's still far more relevant than she is or ever will be by a wide margin. It irks her, as it should.

He is still a threat to someone. Polarizing her audience against him helps to nullify areas that her audience would agree on. Social justice for drug crime being one area.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know if it really makes much difference what she or other MSNBC shows say since GOP primary voters aren't watching it anyways.

That's a good point. I understand why he wouldn't do her show again and I don't blame him. But being attacked by people like her might work to rally Republican voters behind him.

People naturally want to stick up for and defend "their side" when a guy on their team is being attacked by people they don't like.

Rachel Maddow??

Name sounds familiar, kinda.

Didn't she used to be somebody...?

Yes, this is what i was going to say. Rand is the Republican most likely to siphon off votes from the left.

yep, Rand is currently polling ahead of Hillary in 5 battleground states that Obama won last time.

Ms. Maddow is responding to some trends in the independent voting populace that has the establishment terrified.

So many current events are beginning to play out in Rand's favor, from the House speaker race, the re-ignited cold war, etc.

The more the attacks are coming, the more hopeful I'm getting. Rand's campaign on the ground must be phenomenally better than everyone else's.

Libertarians have the power/will to bring down her house of cards. She's simply fighting for her own socialist survival.

Shut the fuck up with your anti-gay shit. No one wants to hear it and there are gay people posting here, including myself, who support the Pauls and want Liberty. All you do is drive these people away with your wacky, bat shit-crazy anti-gay nonsense. Also, homophobes such as yourself are typically repressed gays in a large percentage of cases. Look it up. Maddow is a militant leftist ... Chalk it up to that. Her preference for pussy has no bearing on that. I hope you find it within yourself to finally be free.
