How nice to have friends in high places.

CNN, Fox and MSNBC are carrying this FREE right now. No special attention there....Yah right.

Why the free air time for his political speech?

Good question! :mad::mad::mad:

Who knows if it is free? Perhaps he found a way to make 'donations' to some MSM execs.

But more likely it's because people like Romney have legions of media liasons.

This is nothing more than a FREE infomercial for this guy. He will without a doubt see a huge bump from the sheep in our nation.

Then maybe the sheep in our nation should see a huge blimp.

Why doesn't he talk about how he hasn't argued with his wife in 38 years of marriage? He has said this before. Why doesn't he let the voters know that he believes he will rule over a planet when he dies? (According to his religious beliefs)

I was going to try to make it up but once again, I've been stymied by responsibility.

Let me just say...

GO COLLEGE STATION MEETUP GROUP!!!!

Yes we should all take a vow, whenever we see a news camera in public we should put a Ron Paul sign in the background.

Lets take our own due air time back from every reporter who steps out in public!

I would append that to be, RESPECTFULLY show our sign. No trying to shout over others, etc. Not unless it is a pep rally competition of the other candidates supporters vs ours. Do they REALLY think they can beat us in a candidate shout?

Loved the Ron Paul signs in the background on CNN! :D

Unfortunately, the cameraman had cleverly shot it so that only the first three letters could be seen (Ron) on both signs (the rEVOLution on the left and the Ron Paul for President on the right). Anyone who has never seen a Ron Paul sign before would have thought that there were a lot of dedicated people in the background holding up (Rom)ney signs. :(

Maybe Ron Paul should convert to Mormonism so he can get a free hour of speech time on all major networks.

Then convert back of course.

Just got a call from the CS Meetup folks.

Carl Cameron of Fox News has positioned himself to prevent the Ron Paul signs from being in the background, lol.

Our group is still there, but Carl is doing his job to keep them from being visible to the braindead FoxNewsPorn viewers.

MsDoodahs
12-06-2007, 11:02 AM
He's on now - he's in front of the library.

The Meetup member who called me told me that Carl was going to let the Joseph Lied guy behind him, and sure enough, there he is.

lol...

What a bunch of trash FoxNewsPorn is.

Old man Bush is opening for Romney?

Bush Just called Romneys dad a "point of light".

He said that he didn't want to endorse any one candidate because he liked most of them so much (or something like that). My feelings are hurt. :( :D

The media will claim it is a news event and so fair time rules do not apply

MsDoodahs

We need a youtube of the CNN coverage, did anyone happen to catch it?

Also...

A reporter from KPRC Houston Channel 2 shouted, "Bye, you Ron Paul Assholes" at the group as he was leaving. What a jerk.

An AP reporter interviewed the group, asked a few questions - religion topic included, got everyone's name.

An Austin channel had a reporter there who interviewed an Iraq war vet who is a member of the group, he said the reporter tried to trip him up a time or two.

Oh, and they called me to get the name of the blonde CNN reporter, they were going over to thank her. :)

This is more BS from the media. They are harping on how similar Mormonism is to Protestantism. They keep comparing some minor differences but say they religions are essentially the same. The attempt to compare Romneys mormonism to JFKs catholicism is way off base. Most Protestants think Catholics are Christian and vice versa.

So by applying his above logic... There will also be no Jews in the cabinet? (insane laughter)

Jeez what an asshole this guy is. "Dont judge me as a Mormon, but I will judge others based on their faith."

Just got back from the sign waving. The CNN people were really cool about letting us be in the shots. All the other stations tried to avoid us though (Fox made it impossible to get on). Quite a few people and reporters came up to us to talk about Paul, and some haters too.

Did he really say that?! Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but I thought he was smarter than that. He'll probably be labeled a bigot.

Oh, and somebody should definitely check for a flip flop here and see if he's ever appointed a Muslim to any other position :)
