Should send a video of this to Cruz who seems to forget what a CR means.

I read that Cruz just railed against the CR on the Senate floor for an hour. Or is that misinformation...?

I know Rand's stands are based on principle but do you think if he gets partial blame for shutting down the government his polls might go a bit higher?

Maybe, but I think the fix is in regarding the CR and Boehner and McConnell already have the votes they need. What Rand should really be doing is putting his weight behind Webster's run for Speaker, because until you get leadership that is committed to returning to Regular Order, this nonsense is going to continue to happen over and over and over again. The public is oblivious to what is going on because the media is conspiring with the GOP Leadership to keep it out of the public conversation. Rand mentioning it in a Floor Speech does nothing. He needs to insert himself in to the Speaker's race.

Because the Senators don't do their work or vote on matters until they expire or are threatened to expire soon (?). . . it's been going on longer than Rand.

It is no way to run a governement . . . one Continuing Resolution to the next Continuing Resolution.
