Pretty good one. He said he would be attacking on liberal positions, especially eminent domain. Kelly says that doesn't have any effect on his poll numbers. Rand says it will eventually, especially when they realize he could have control over the nuclear arsenal.

Good. Glad to see Rand getting ready to take the on the hair. I hope he does not keep using the "rumble" word though. Seems kind of immature.

Idk. Not convinced the average person cares about Trump's past liberal positions or his insults.

Maybe I'm out of touch with "everday Americans" (to quote Hillary) but personally the eminent domain talking point strikes me as something too arcane to connect with voters. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Not a bad interview. I just hope he does a better job "mixing it up" this time. Think ahead and don't walk into obvious traps, like attacking Christie for his Obama hug. Rand has been advertising his attacks on Trump, so if he is planning to just reiterate in different words what he already said in the Kelly interview, Trump will be ready for it and will counterpunch twice as hard.

Idk. Not convinced the average person cares about Trump's past liberal positions or his insults.

The super Trump supporters probably won't care, they have been willing to ignore substance for style. I've seen posts on Twitter like "I don't care what his positions are, at least he LOVES America!" or "It doesn't matter what he says, I like that he isn't AFRAID to say it!".

Those people probably aren't going to care or drop him because of something issues related. I think they will eventually though once his numbers start going down. He will lose that appeal of being a "winner" if the narrative in race changes to "has Trump peaked?" and someone else overtakes him as the frontrunner.

They don't make up the whole amount of his 30% poll numbers though. There are people that haven't paid attention and don't really know anything about him other than his name, that he's tough, and that the people they don't like are against him. Those people can be pulled away when they find out who he is. Like Rand said, they haven't even started paying attention yet and are more likely to answer Trump in a poll because they know him and that he's in the lead.

Yeah, you have to do the chess style planning a couple moves ahead and have replies for their replies ready.

I'd guess one reason for advertising ahead of time that he's going to attack Trump is to make sure they ask him questions. They like those back and forth exchanges, like how they set up the thing with Christie by asking him about Rand. So if they know Rand wants to mix it up, and they know that makes good TV, they'll be more likely to give him time.

Rand keeps bringing up these obscure issues that aren't going to make headlines. He's gotta start talking as big as Trump if he wants to get people's attention. And Trump is really, really effective at talking big and blowing his own horn.

eminent domain is NOT arcane or obscure.

Rand is correct, property rights are a foundation of this country. Its an important issue. Now, if you believe the average american voter is dumb on property rights, then thats a whole different story.

What does that mean? Say "Merica" all day and keep all substance out of his interviews. If American want to vote for a guy that steals private property. They deserve what they get.
