was a very interesting experience to say the least. the kid is around my age (18) and he started new at my school. hes actually very charismatic, speaks good english (apparantly they used to teach english extensively in syrian school prior to ISIS situation), funny as fuark (half the white girls already want him), and seems honest. he told me hes over the moon that hes now a citizen and living in a first world country. apparantly most syrians were denied but he was one of the lucky few to get in, the others had to leave to another country which accepted them.

Well, the US is responsible for the mess in his country. Bush and Obama wanted to help Saudi Arabia and Israhell by deposing al-Assad. (https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/re-re-the-refugee-crisis/)

Refugees can go back to their country when the war is over. Rich Arab countries must take the refugees.

How long has he been in the US? Are you sure he's actually a citizen? He might be misusung the word. Maybe he just got a green card or some other kind of legal recognition that he can stay.

It's also possible that his father has been working with CIA to destablize Assad and got an expedited citizenship for his family that way.

Yep, please see:

Syrian Opposition’s Amazing CIA Credentials (https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/syrian-oppositions-amazing-cia-credentials/)

And the official US position that in order to be considered for refugee status the alien must be in US soil. (http://damascus.usembassy.gov/visas/political-asylum-and-the-united-states-refugee-program.html)

There are some states in America which can host just about 800,00 or so, after all America and her lovely allies created the mess in the first place.

Don't you think, refugees are getting US and European citizenship, the easy way.

If you watch any videos from Syria or Yemen, I'm not sure you'll still think that being a refugee is the easy way.

Refugees and asylum seekers are usually given permanent residency status (green cards) and after 5 yrs, you can apply for US citizenship. Lots of US citizens are created that way. I went to college with a friend from Iraq who became a citizen through that way. All the people that came over with them also got the same deal too.

I guess it is the small price you pay for destroying another man's country

For some reason, this scene from That 70s show comes to mind when I think of a foreign student getting the ladies.

Since FY 2008 to FY 2013 the U.S. admitted 115,617 refugees from the Middle East and granted another 10,026 asylum. Additionally the U.S. granted green cards to 308,805 immigrants from those Middle Eastern countries identified by ORR as refugee nations, making them Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) eligible to apply for citizenship in five years and petition to have family members come to the U.S.

National sovereignty is dead.

It's the one world government, Daddy Bush spoke about so fondly. A government the people don't know, nor ever have a chance to vote for. They've completed their mission, even with the pope behind them. The New World Order, where Europe and the U.S. have died. And their few fools who do go to work each day, get to pay for the rest of the world's laziness.

Until last this past year, fewer than 100 Syrians a year were even allowed to enter the US. Your friend was one of the fortunate few. They are considering raising that to 10,000. By comparision, Germany says they will let in 500,000 a year.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/11/world/middleeast/obama-directs-administration-to-accept-10000-syrian-refugees.html?_r=0

Chart didn't copy so I am hand transcribing the figures on it. See link for verification.

2011- 29 Syrian refugees allowed into the United States. Not 2900 or 29,000 but twenty nine. One less than thirty. Less than one for each state in the Union.
2012- 31
2013- 36
2014- 105
2015- 1,293
2016- (proposed): 10,000

Our current total population is about 330 million.

The United States once offered refuge to tens of thousands at a time. In 1979, it provided sanctuary to 111,000 Vietnamese refugees and in 1980 almost doubled that number to 207,000. Around the same time, the United States took in more than 120,000 Cuban refugees during the Mariel boatlift, including more than 80,000 in one month alone.

But after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, the number of refugees allowed into the United States slowed sharply, dropping to 27,131 in 2002. The numbers have risen steadily since then and last year amounted to 69,987 — just below a cap of 70,000. Most refugees need at least a year and sometimes two to navigate the system.
