One thing they did was slip in a neoconservative as a debate "moderator" (interrogator) for the next GOP debate.

At face value I would say that the Sheldon Likud Lobby is saying that Democrats are not reliable votes for those who favor militarism for Israel and that they should support Republicans, kind of like how Democrats lost the South to the Republican party after the civil rights act. It could either pressure Democrats to cave in or try and bring more support to the GOP which is in the lobby's pocket pretty much. It could be an acknowledgement that J Street is challenging AIPAC on the left and doing good.

Sounds like a good possibility. Neoconservatives are trying to shame those who have not come out adamantly against the deal (and negotiations with Iran in general).
