He had 250 people in a restaurant in Freeport, home of LL Bean. Linda Bean is a conservative and was a supporter of Ron's. It's a fairly lengthy article...

I'm glad they had nice things to say. But Ron attracted a crowd of over 1000 at the same spot. So many people showed they closed the road.

Do you remember what month that was? It is still early and many people are not paying attention.

That's why Rand is going to have to unleash Ron on the campaign trail if he is unable to ignite the base.

Ron needs to be touring all of the colleges. He excites Millennials like no other.

A quick check with the Google machines shows an article about Ron's stop there dated January 28th, 2012... days before their caucus.

So yes, it's tough to compare crowd sizes now in the summer to what they will be at the height of the season.

If you look back on his Facebook page you can find a lot of Ron's stops during this part of the season were also 200 to 500 people.

Had a great turn out at our Sioux City, Iowa town hall! Over 200 showed up. - September 20, 2011

So I wouldn't panic about crowd sizes yet. 250 people in a restaurant at this point is fine.

Hmm, I don't think that was 1,000 at Linda Beans. Maybe more like 700 or less. He did, however, make a number of different stops in other cities such as Lewiston, Gorham, and even to some of the actual caucuses.
