I have another thread over in Rand Paul Forum about this, but I wanted to make sure that you all are aware of a fundraiser I'm currently holding in order to raise continued funds to photograph Rand Paul's campaign for President.
I'm currently at about 50% towards the minimum goal that Indiegogo would allow me to set, and with only about a week left, I'm beginning to worry that I won't be able to reach my goal.
This past week I traveled from Alaska to Washington to Idaho to Utah to cover Rand Paul's big rallies of supporters, and document the liberty movement.
I've been privileged to be able to provide the liberty movement with thousands of photos since I first began my political photography of Rand's U.S. Senate campaign in November 2009, and have continued to document the liberty movement during Ron Paul's 2012 run, and now with Rand Paul's 2016 run, all thanks to the support of liberty lovers here on Ron Paul Forums.
As you can imagine, this is not a very cheap thing to do, but I try to be as cost effective as possible. I was able to travel from Alaska to Washington to Idaho to Utah and cover all four of those very different parts of our country for just a little over $400. I didn't spend any money on a hotel room, I stayed with people I knew or even slept in the airport, my only cost was airfare.
So I hope you will know that every dollar donated goes a long way.
Looking forward I'd very much like to continue to document the liberty movement around Rand Paul's campaign in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, and beyond. I truly do believe that Rand has a real shot at becoming the next President, and these current blips of candidates will not matter once it comes time to vote.
