I love it. Now THIS was a very good reason to raise a big stink and an ugly scene and kudos to the people that were there.

I took a nuanced stand on the "Giuliani in Marietta" thing, but this is a clear cut case of bait and switch. People are justified to get mad, and raise a stink.

This is great! Ron Paul can win big in California since it is not a winner takes all state. Delegates are divided by precincts won and Ron Paul can win precincts like San Francisco easily because the GOP is so small there.

Sweet. Normal looking older supporter who hits all of the good points, especially the part where he points out that SF is 10% Republican and that it is stupid for the party to turn away all the fresh new blood.

What did they do, find the craziest RP supporter they could?

The fact is, it sounds to me like because they posted this on the Meetup group, that it exceeded the number of people she expected.

In either case, she failed miserably in running the poll, and it's good media attention.

That lady is a tool.

I predict Romney will crash and burn if he allows questions following his "Mormon" speech.

It's a local affiliate of CBS, not the national CBS. Local stations are always more fair and objective.

Hahaha

Freedom is popular.... and "Chaos is fun!" :) Seemed like that old fella actually liked seeing some political blood flowing at a GOP meeting for a change.

One thing missing in the interview after the event was that the SF CBS reporter did not interview any RP representative - you know BOTH sides of the story!

Oh Well, We got some reasonable attention even though the reporter said there was foul language being used on both sides.

My understanding, is that anyone could come and pay the 5$ to vote after they had their 33$ dinner? Or was that incorrect info about that? Should send that to the news station if it is true so they can show that she was not telling the truth that they was not invited to vote as she stated.

Do they NOT REALIZE that their shenanigans are propelling Ron Paul exactly where they don't want him...to the PRESIDENCY???

Coverage could not have been anymore favorable! That old man is a Ron Paul Ambassador! Thank you sir for your calm natured interview with the newsman. This probably works out better for Ron Paul than him winning the lame straw poll anyway.
